Our Vison, “To change lives and the culture of community by providing lasting and supportive home environments” is reflected in our resident’s continued interactions. Ask for an events calendar, or better yet, call us!
Yes! There is parking for every apartment, and we offer covered parking and/or garages available for an additional charge (properties vary).
Wi-Fi is available throughout our clubhouse, where you will find a business center with top of the line computers, as well as a library and other amenities for our residents' use. However, Wi-Fi is not provided in individual apartments; for more information concerning your Internet provider, please contact your specific Mariposa property.
Easy as pie, so bring one! Our great room, community room, library and other common areas make for a perfect setting for meeting new friends!  
We strategically create Mariposa communities in proximity to grocery stores, retail, restaurants, medical facilities, places of worship and other amenities enjoyed by active adults for our residents’ convenience.
We provide a 12 month lease and offer our residents an opportunity to renew their lease every year. Additionally, residents in affordable apartments will recertify every year, while recertifications do not apply to market rate apartment homes.
Yes, we remain compliant with city and state fire department codes.
Although we often have potluck meals, pizza parties, resident appreciation dinners and frequent gatherings, Mariposa does not provide regularly scheduled meals to residents.

We know you want community, choices and comfort. We provide this maintenance free lifestyle with an abundance of amenities to keep you busy and smiling!
We encourage guests to visit but require a maximum of a 3-day stay. A notice is required if staying any longer. Family and friends are welcome to attend activities and to take advantage of the amenities as long as they comply with community guidelines. We encourage you to contact the manager for your specific Mariposa and ask about the community policy.

No, we only allow persons on the lease to live on the property.
Our residents are family! That being said, we will gladly work with you if something unexpected were to occur. There will be an 85% re-letting charge of one month, with 30 days written notice. (Check with your property for details or variations.)
Though it is not required, we strongly recommend that all residents obtain renter's insurance.
Mariposa does not provide housekeeping services, but we can provide a list of resources within your community.
All our Mariposa communities have onsite Cares Teams who are focused solely on the happiness and wellbeing of all our residents. They may surprise you with flowers, cards, visits, balloons or activities that everyone enjoys.
We are pet friendly at Mariposa and have weight limits and a limit on the number of pets. Inquire at your specific Mariposa for their policies.
Residents pay for their electric, phone, gas (in select Mariposa communities), and cable. We provide water and sewer. For more information concerning utility services, including trash management, please contact your Mariposa community.
Mariposa works closely with nearby scheduled transportation companies as well as public transportation where available, but does not provide transportation on site.
Mariposa offers specials and incentives that vary week to week or by month. We encourage you to contact the manager and inquire as to what we are offering today!
Many of our 55+Mariposa communities have market rate homes that do not have maximum income restrictions, though we require that your income meet specific rental guidelines. In the homes that do require qualifying per program guidelines, those criteria are revised by the state annually. Please call us for details for the income guidelines in your area.
Mariposa retains an onsite maintenance team every day. Requests are responded to promptly, and handled in order of urgency. We have great maintenance teams to keep our communities in tip top shape!
